Thirsty? These are the best outdoor bars in Music City

Spring is officially in the air, and indoor bars are starting to feel a bit stuffy. After being inside at work all day, we get that you just want to kick back outdoors with a drink of your choice and enjoy the scenery. We’re with you, so we rounded up some of our favorite outdoor bars. See you at Happy Hour!

This bar is hardcore trending right now, and it’s no secret why. Located atop new Nashville hotel the Thompson Nashville, this rooftop bar’s soaring city views and delicious sips immediately landed it on our list. The modern furniture and light fixtures radiate cool, and if you’re looking to spot a celebrity, this is the place.

2. The Band Box

Baseball fans and non baseball fans alike enjoy this 4,000-square-foot outdoor bar tucked away in First Tennessee Park’s right field. Play a round of corn hole or ping-pong as you sip on your whiskey and Coke Icee for the ultimate experience.

3. Rumours East

String lights are the main focus here at Rumours East, and we’re all about it. Billowing white curtains add just the right touch of ambience to the restaurant patio’s backyard vibes. Grab your favorite glass of wine and order The Board, a rotating selection of cheeses and meats as you breathe in that fresh spring air.

4. Kung Fu Saloon

If you're into games, head to Kung Fu Saloon off Division Street. While the inside features more than 20 vintage arcade games, Skee Ball and shuffleboard, the outside is nothing to scoff at. The massive patio is complete with an outdoor bar, heaters for those cooler spring nights and ping-pong tables.

5. 12 South Taproom

This is a true classic that can’t be argued with. Located on—you guessed it—12 Avenue South, their spacious patio is great for people-watching. Come sit on a warm spring Saturday night and count how many dogs walk by.
